I'm Emily Rose, your Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapistâ„¢.
Growing up in West Texas, a strong sense of community and connection has always been central to who I am. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with you, but before we dive in, let me share a bit about my professional journey!
I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and later earned my Masters of Education in Counseling. Throughout my career, I've held various roles, such as working as both an elementary and high school counselor in the school setting. I've also gained invaluable experience through several years in private practice. You may have even seen me officing inside The Playroom Lubbock. A bit of a neurobiology nerd, you'll often find me engrossed in books about the brain, always eager to enhance my work with clients and their families.
Hey Y'all!
Emily opened my eyes to a way of parenting in a way that finally made sense! She really gets it not only as a professional, but also as a mom. It's hard to imagine where our family would be if we hadn't reached out. We implemented some changes after our first session and noticed a change in our relationship with our child!"
*Protecting confidentiality of caregivers and clients is a top priority to Emily, so testimonials are never solicited and identities are never shared.
